Is the Prenatal program designed to certify or equip me to instruct Postnatal Yoga?

Support Team Updated by Support Team

Completing the Prenatal programs only qualifies you to teach prenatal yoga, NOT postnatal classes. The knowledge and practices for postnatal yoga differ significantly.

While prenatal yoga emphasizes relaxation, postnatal yoga is more focused on strengthening. These two stages have contrasting needs. For instance, in prenatal yoga, the primary aim is relaxation, whereas postnatal yoga centres on rebuilding strength.

It's crucial to recognize and respect these distinctions when guiding expectant individuals. As teachers trained in prenatal yoga, we are not certified to teach postnatal yoga and should refrain from offering advice or information about it in our prenatal sessions.
