We utilize WeTransfer as our preferred file-sharing platform. However, like any other file-sharing services such as Dropbox, it can experience occasional glitches or outages.

If you're encountering issues with uploading your video, please try the following solutions, before you reach out to us:

  1. Check the WeTransfer status page for glitches.
  2. File Size Considerations: The upload speed can be influenced by the file size, your device, and the speed of your internet connection. Occasionally, large files might require multiple upload attempts. Using a computer's incognito or private browser window can sometimes yield better results. If your video file is significantly large, think about utilizing a tool to reduce its size (numerous free options are available online). Compressing the file might enhance the upload speed.
  3. Internet Connection: If feasible, try using a different internet connection. Sometimes, a change in connectivity can make all the difference.
  4. Alternative Upload Methods: If you continue to face issues with WeTransfer, you have the option to upload your video to YouTube as a private video. Once done, contact us and forward the link, and we'll ensure it reaches the appropriate evaluator.

Please be reassured! Past students have always found a way to successfully upload their videos. Sometimes it might require a few different strategies or the use of YouTube, but every student eventually finds a way to submit their work.
